Zairin is a seductive thief from Kordava who appeared in the 2004 video game.
Appearance
Zairin wears a rather revealing cloth, only being clad with feathered clothing that covered her bossums and lower torso, she also wears a pair of boots, armbands, golden bracelets, and a necklace, she also has a pony tail.
Background
Zairin was born in Arenjun, she lost both her parents at the age of 10 when her village was struck by a mysterious plague. Her uncle later adopted her and the two moved to Kordava. Zairin eventually grew up becoming a thief, her newfound profession her uncle constantly worry that she may one day end up on the gallows.
Hearing rumors of a treasure said to be hidden within an ancient fortress, Zairin ventured within the Picts' territory in search for the treasure to claim it for herself. Unknown to her that the treasure was just a ruse laid out by the fortress' ghosts to lure weary travelers to their doom.
Conan first encountered Zairin by chance shortly after he entered the fortress where the ghosts sent her away to be sacrificed. The barbarian ventured further into the fortress and eventually located Zairin. Though she was freed by Conan, Zairin was once again captured by the ghost and transported her further into the caverns. Conan rescued her once again and the two decided to work together in order to escape the fortress. After fighting off the fortress' inhabitants, the two managed to escape the fortress and traveled through the river via canoe. Upon learning that Zairin's uncle may have information on the Vulture Cult Conan has been seeking, the two decided to continue traveling together until they reach Kordava.
After several days of fending off the Picts while traveling through the river, Conan and Zairin made it to the ocean and soon arrived at Kordava's harbor. As promised, Zairin directed Conan to her uncle who knew information regarding the Vulture Cult. Shortly after their meeting, Zairin was kidnapped by the cultists, while her uncle was murdered. Conan infiltrated the cult's headquarters, only for him to witness Zairin being transported to a portal that leads to the cult's temple. Zairin was later seen forced by the cultists to read incantations to summon Seth. Conan was able to defeat Seth and together they escaped the crumbling temple.
