Synopsis[]
Conan prepares to take some of his men to find the kidnapped Belit, and, after ending a small mutiny leaves the village of the Watambi in search of the Dragon Riders. Meanwhile, the resourceful Belit discovers from her captives that she is to be the bride of Amra, who the Dragon Riders fear, and she manages to cut her bonds with a crocodile scale and escape. The Dragon Riders search for her, but are resigned to the fact that they have lost their prize. Conan, unaware of his lover's escape, finds the Dragon Rider camp, and after starting a fire to terrify and scatter the giant crocodiles, kills all but one of the kidnappers. The survivor tells Conan that Belit has escaped and Conan forces him to help find her. Some distance away, Belit is attacked by a giant mothlike creature, and is rescued by a large, muscular form. For an instant, she thinks it's Conan, but instead sees a red-headed barbarian - Amra...
