SynopsisEdit

The animals of the jungle, including baboons, alligators, panthers, snakes and more, approach the altar on which Conan is tied while Ajaga stands protected behind the sigil of Jhebbal Sag. Suddenly, Belit and Sholo appear and Ajaga, knocked against a rock by Belit, is dazed. Sholo won't approach until Conan, freed by Belit, scrubs the symbol from the floor as Ajaga's men cautiously approach the horde of animals. The jungle animals, no longer under control of Ajaga move to attack him, and Ajaga desperately tries to communicate with them, but his injury has addled his mind and he is devoured by the beasts he so recently controlled. Krato and Beeya manage to rally the men to attack Conan and Belit, but Sholo has returned to battle and the beast and Krato slay each other. Still, Conan and Belit are helplessly outnumbered until M'Gora and the Black Corsairs race into the battle. The battle is now over, but Beeya has managed to escape, thoughts of vengeance in his head. Conan honors the memory of Sholo as Belit releases the enslaved women and the group returns to the Tigress.
